In 2014 we were working together in Barcelona, trying to figure out how to make a beautiful game about birds.
Teresa, the biologist in our group, is also an environmental educator. She has been teaching kids about nature and birds at the Delta del Llobregat for a long time. We had the pleasure to visit the natural park where she worked a couple of times and experience how fascinating it was to learn so much about the different species: how they live, why and where they migrate...
Encouraged by the passion of our own learning, we decided to make a game about birds which would help children and adults to know more about this fascinating world. Because when you understand the magic of something, it is more probable that you value it and want to protect it. And we really need to protect nature!
So four years later, we continue working on this project: gathering information, speaking with ornithologists, thinking of possible rules, making different designs... We do it slow, in different cities, different countries, petting our dogs and cats while having a laugh, learning and enjoying.

En 2014 estábamos trabajando juntas en Barcelona, intentando crear un juego sobre pájaros.
Teresa, la bióloga de Go, teachers, go! es además educadora medioambiental. Ha trabajado muchos años en el Delta del Llobregat, enseñando a los niños y niñas cosas sobre la naturaleza y los pájaros del Delta. Durante ese tiempo tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar el parque natural algunas veces, y fue increíble todo lo que aprendimos sobre las diferentes especies: cómo viven, por qué y a dónde emigran...
Motivados por nuestro propio aprendizaje, decidimos crear un juego sobre pájaros para ayudar a niños, niñas y adultos a saber más sobre este mundo tan fascinante. Porque cuando entiendes la magia de algo, es más probable que lo aprecies y quieras protegerlo. ¡Y necesitamos proteger la naturaleza!
Así que cuatro años más tarde, continuamos trabajando en este proyecto: recopilando información, hablando con ornitólogos, pensando posibles reglas de juego, haciendo diferentes diseños... Y lo hacemos despacio, en diferentes ciudades, diferentes países, mientras acariciamos a nuestros perros y gatos y nos echamos unas risas, aprendiendo y disfrutando.
